Every year we go to the Swan Island Dahlia Festival on Labor Day Weekend to see the pretty flowers.  This year Lolo, Lola and Uncle Val came along.

For my Aunt Marti, because she asked so nicely… here are our favorite pictures from the pumpkin patch this year. 

The pumpkin patch was a lot of fun, like it is every year.  The highlight for the girls this year was the grain bin (picture a giant bin filled with corn and wheat and sand toys).  Also, the kettle corn.

At least we went to a different water park this time. 

Yes, Emma is nearly losing her bikini bottoms.

We had Tessa's 5th Birthday Party at our local Carousel.  Our theme was Barbie Twelve Dancing Princesses.  For a craft all the kids decorated foamy sunglasses and then posed for a picture.  We had dinner, and then the kids ran off to ride the carousel.  After that, we had cake and gifts and passed out goody bags.  Tessa had a blast playing with her friends from preschool and church!

My wonderful husband figured out how to make a slide show work with Wordpress!  (I used to do slide shows with my old blogger blog, but hadn't yet figured them out with my new blog.)  Thanks Rogene, you're the best!
