Our nephew Trey does a standing back flip and some kind of twisty flip on the trampoline last Saturday.

Lisa over at Our7Qtpies nominated me for the Rockin' Girl Blogger award.   Thanks Lisa!  I love reading your blog and I'm glad you were already nominated twice because you are totally a Rockin' Girl Blogger!

The way this award works, as I understand it, is that I'm supposed to nominate some of my favorite bloggers for the award also.  Honestly, I'm not sure of the number, so I'm going to do 7 like Lisa at Our7Qtpies did.

1. Especially Heather - The most inspirational writing I've ever read.  She is facing incredibly hard times, but never loses sight of God's love and faithfulness.
2. No Diet Coke for Mommy - Interesting, funny, and sweet.  Cute videos.  Fun contests.  I've been reading this blog for a long time.
3. Catherine Newman - I would read pretty much anything she wrote, even if it was a recipe.  She writes for magazines such as Family Fun and Wondertime, and writes the online journal Dalai Mama (and previously wrote the online journal Bringing Up Ben and Birdy). 
4. Scribbit - Recipes, give aways, crafts, ideas for kids, and so much more.  Always interesting and informative.
5. Swistle - This blog was recommended by Linda at Purple is a Fruit and I'm so glad I checked it out… it is one of my favorites now.  This mother of five is a very creative writer and posts the most adorable newborn pictures.
6. Kickyboots - Beautiful baby photos, beautiful writing.
7. Lots of Scotts - This mother of triplets is using her blog to record history for her kids, and writing about her spiritual journey as well.  This is what I'd like my blog to be more like.

If this is a second (or third or thirtieth) nomination for you all I would not be surprised.  You all are terrific and definitely Rockin' Girl Bloggers.

My four nephews (Jordan, Trey, Anson and Andrew) were visiting us last weekend… on Sunday afternoon they just hanging out together.   It is great to see brothers who get along so well (at least while visit their aunt, uncle and cousins).

Proverbs 18:24

"… there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

That is pretty comforting, considering how close brothers can be.
